submission requirements

All documents must be submitted in digital PDF format, and to scale. To ensure your assessment can commence without delay, please include the following information in your plans and documentation.


Site and Orientation
  • North point shown on all floor plans

  • Ground floor height above natural ground level (an average across the dwelling is acceptable)

  • A minimum of two sectional views to support accurate modelling

  • Ceiling heights, including any raked or varied ceiling notations

Building Envelope
  • External wall cladding type and colour

  • External roof colour and material

  • External flooring type and thickness (e.g. raft slab or waffle pod)

  • Insulation values for walls, ceiling, and underfloor where applicable

Glazing
  • Window and door schedule (minimum requirement)

  • Window and glass door manufacturer (preferred, where known)

  • Internal Finishes

  • Internal floor coverings for all rooms (e.g. carpet, timber, vinyl, or exposed concrete)

Services and Electrical
  • Electrical layout including lighting and appliance locations where available. If not provided, NatHERS Tech Note defaults will be applied.

  • Hot water system type

  • Oven type

  • Cooktop type

Water
  • Rainwater tank size (if applicable)

  • Tap star rating

  • Toilet star rating
